Ava's first 4th of July went pretty well. We went to the parade/fair in Larkspur, which had several food and beer vendors. There were also arts and crafts- we bought her a monkey puppet, monkey T-shirt and purple butterfly wings to wear. She LOVES monkeys and giraffes. We had a minor meltdown because she was tired and hungry, the wind was blowing so every time I would just get her to go to sleep the breeze would wake her up. The music was also loud. Once the parade started, Ava finally fell asleep, missing her first parade.
You are my hero, Mommy. We were chicken and kept Anna Claire home.
